How do credits work?
Screenshots always cost 1 credit. Animations are billed at 1 credit per second of GIF duration (minimum 1 credit). For example, a 30-frame animation at 100 ms per frame produces a 3-second GIF and costs 3 credits. You can see the exact cost in the X-Credit-Cost response header after every request.
How many animations can I run per month?
It depends on duration. A 3-second GIF costs 3 credits, so 50 free-tier credits give you about 16 animations at that length, or 50 one-second animations. Longer animations cost more credits per render.
Do you charge automatic overages?
Not today. When you need more monthly capacity, move to the next plan instead of relying on surprise overage charges.
